Both children were found safe in Maryland.

SPENCER, TN (2/22/12) - An East Tennessee AMBER Alert has been issued on behalf of Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office.
The alert is for two white females: 3-year-old Summer Knasel, three feet tall, 32 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes, last seen wearing a Dora nightgown and 4-year-old Lovell Knasel, three feet four inches, 30 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes, last seen wearing a princess nightgown.
The children were abducted by their noncustodial parents, 32-year-old Jeremy Knasel, white, six feet tall, 210 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes and 24-year-old Ashley Norberg, white, five foot ten inches tall, 200 pounds, brown hair and green eyes.
The children were removed from their custody on Feb. 17, 2012, after it was discovered that Knasel and Norberg were manufacturing methamphetamine in the house with the children present and Knasel is known by law enforcement to act irrationally. They are believed to be armed with a handgun.
The children were abducted at approximately midnight CST. The suspects are believed to be driving a 1993 black Nissan Maxima, Tennessee license plate 065 VKS, registered to Norberg. It is unknown if the suspects have left the state or not.
