BOWLING GREEN, KY - John R. Choate, age 77 of Bowling Green passed away Sunday at his residence.

He was the son of the late Leon and Ava Marie Willingham Choate.

The Wingo, Ky native is survived by two sons, Roger Matthew Choate and his wife Tana of Bowling Green, and Joseph Leon Choate of Wingo; one daughter, Paula Williams and husband Tiefvic; nine grandchildren, Whitley Jo, Joseph Tyler, Matthew, BreeOnna, Carley, Derek Reuben, Adam Bailey, Tiefvany Marie, & Jazz Franklin; two great grandchildren, Ajohnna, & Malachi.

Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, February 21 at 3 p.m. in Wingo. There will be no visitation.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel.
