BOWLING GREEN, KY - Enola Grimes Mahoney, 85, of Bowling Green passed away Monday at The Medical Center.
The Warren County native was born December 24, 1926, a daughter of the late Oliver G. Grimes and Laura Wilson Grimes.
Mrs. Mahoney was a homemaker, a longtime member of 12th Street Church of Christ and a current member of Eastside Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, William F. Mahoney; three brothers, James Grimes, Calvin Grimes and Gifford Gavin Grimes and a sister, Evona Tunks.
Survivors include: one sister, Elaine Reece and her husband, Ed, of Bowling Green and a sister-in-law, Virginia Grimes. Mrs. Mahoney was very close to and was dearly loved by her nieces and nephews, Ravenna Raymer and her husband, Roscoe; Debbie Wells and her husband, Ted and Barbara Johnson; Damon Grimes and his wife, Maryann; Kerry Grimes and his wife, Kathy; David Grimes and his wife, Sue; Mark Grimes and his wife Diana; Scott Grimes and his wife, Suzanne; Randy Reece and his wife, Michelle and Troy Reece and his wife, Cheryl as well as several great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, at Johnson Vaughn Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, and again Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home.
