Muhlenberg County Mustangs FootballGREENVILLE, Ky. (9/7/17) — Fresh off a hard-fought win over Hopkins County Central, Muhlenberg County is preparing to visit McLean County for its next game.

Muhlenberg County is 1-2. Prior to defeating Hopkins County Central in Week 2, Muhlenberg County had dropped back-to-back games to Apollo and Logan County.

In three games, Muhlenberg County quarterback Joseph Grubbs has completed 29 of 70 passes for 374 yards and four touchdowns. Grubbs has thrown one interception. But he isn't alone when it comes to passing the football for the Mustangs. Aiding the Muhlenberg County aerial attack, Bronzyn Healy has completed two of 10 passes for 107 yards and two touchdowns. Healy has thrown two interceptions.

Currently, Healy leads the Mustangs in rushing. Healy has rushed 43 times for 154 yards.

Defensively, Karsen Steele paces the Eagles with three interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown.

McLean County is 0-3 following losses to Ohio County, Trigg County and Apollo. Through three games, opponents have outscored the Cougars 107-74.

McLean County has picked up all but 39 of its yards on the ground. As a team, McLean County has rushed for 939 yards,

Noah Baldwin leads the Cougars in rushing. Baldwin has rushed 62 times for 385 yards and three touchdowns.

Kickoff for the Muhlenberg County-McLean County football game is set for 7 p.m..
