NAPBOWENSBORO, Ky. (9/10/17) — North American Premier Basketball (NAPB) will announce details about a new team it is bringing to Owensboro during a press conference at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 12 at the Owensboro Sportscenter.

The NAPB is a new league founded by the former commissioner of the NBL of Canada and the owner of the Premier Basketball League (PBL). A former Owensboro-based team, the Kentucky Mavericks, competed in the PBL.

NAPB President/Chief Operating Officer David Magley will be in attendance at the press conference, along with Owensboro Mayor Tom Watson, City Commissioner Blake Henry (General Manager of Owensboro Sportscenter) and City Events Coordinator Tim Ross.

NAPB has already announced teams for Rochester, New York; Albany, New York and Seattle.
