Henderson County LogoDIXON, Ky. (9/12/17) — The Henderson County Lady Colonels continued to roll on Tuesday evening, shutting out the Webster County Lady Trojans 10-0 in a 6th District girls' soccer game.

With the win, Henderson County improved to 8-1-2 overall and 1-0 in the 6th District.

Webster County dropped to 3-5 overall and 0-2 in the district with the loss.

Maddie Griggs led Henderson County to the win, scoring a game-high five goals.

Accompanying Griggs in the Henderson County scoring column, Riley Lovell, Cecilia Palummo, Abbey Roberts, Maddie Tompkins and Whitnie West netted one goal apiece for the Lady Colonels.

Tompkins and Katie Bickers dished out two assists apiece for Henderson County in the district win. Following Tompkins and Bickers in the Henderson County assists column, Palummo, Trinity Edwards and Hannah Jones distributed one helper apiece.

Defensively for the Lady Colonels, goalkeeper Brooke Bugg held Webster County scoreless.

Henderson County is slated to visit Owensboro for its next game on Thursday. Sept. 14.

Webster County is due to host Muhlenberg County for its next game on Tuesday, Sept. 12.
