lourdes2 300PADUCAH, Ky. (7/3/14) — Lourdes will celebrate the groundbreaking of the Emergency Department of the Future July 10, 2014 at 9 a.m. on Lourdes main campus located by the Behavior Health building.

The $8.6 million expansion and renovation will provide a state-of- the- art technology including the ability to expand trauma response, a centralized nursing station for direct oversight of patient rooms, improved access and parking.

The program will include brief comments from Steven Grinnell, President & CEO, Dr. Jeremy Klope, Director of Emergency Services and a ceremonial turning of ground.

Coffee and refreshments will be available at 8:30 a.m. as well as interview and photo opportunities.

The media is welcome and encouraged to attend.
