OWENSBORO, Ky. (8/12/14) — Approximately 60 pounds of marijuana, three handguns determined to be stolen, and about $41,000 in cash were seized in a pair of searches executed Monday afternoon and evening.
Owensboro Police said the investigation centered around a pair of search warrants at two locations. The first warrant was executed around 4:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Jed Place. The other was executed at 8:17 p.m. last night in the 1100 block of Burlew Blvd.
Four people were charged in connection with the investigations:
Michael Fairrow, Jr., 29, Owensboro, was charged with trafficking in marijuana, first degree trafficking in a controlled substance, receiving stolen property, possession of a defaced firearm, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Konrad McNeal, 32, Owensboro, was charged with trafficking in marijuana more than five pounds, trafficking in a controlled substance, trafficking in marijuana less than eight ounces, receiving stolen property, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Tristan Bowling, 33, Owensboro, was charged with trafficking in marijuana eight ounces to five pounds, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and receiving stolen property.
Byron Gaither, 31, Providence, was charged with first degree trafficking in a controlled substance.
