Pennsylvania Satanist Admits to 23 Murders

Craiglist teen murderer19-year-old Miranda Barbour Craigslist murderer in Pennsylvania.UNITED STATES (2/17/14) – A 19-year-old Pennsylvania newlywed, Miranda Barbour, confessed in an interview with a local Pennsylvania newspaper Friday to not only the Nov. 11 murder of a Port Trevoton man, but also 22 other slayings in four different states.

Barbour allegedly conducted the murder with her husband, Elytte Barbour, on their three-week anniversary, marking his first kill; Miranda, however, says she has been on a Satanic killing-spree since the age of 13.

Barbour said that she "remember(s) everything" about the night she allegedly killed Troy LaFerrara, 42, whom she met through a Craigslist ad she posted.

She agreed to sex for $100 with the man and the two met in a mall parking lot.

"He said the wrong things," Barbour said in an interview by local newspaper, the Daily Item at the Northumberland County Prison Friday night. "And then things got out of control. I can tell you he was not supposed to be stabbed. My husband was just supposed to strangle him."

According to court documents obtained by the Daily Item, Barbour stabbed LaFerrara 20 times while they sat in her Honda CRV. Her husband then came from behind him in the back seat and strapped a cord around LaFerrara's neck.

Barbour said that LaFerrara agreed to have sex with her even after she said she was a minor, and that she felt no remorse for "bad people".

Reports of a troubled childhood have since come out about Barbour, saying that she was sexually molested at age 4. Barbour said she was introduced to murder at age 13 by a man who led her to Satanism.

After many years in an Alaskan cult, she continued to murder in North Carolina, Texas and California.

City police have confirmed that they have been working with investigators from other states to gain more information on these alleged happenings.

In Friday night's interview, Barbour gave very little details of her participation in murders in the other states, but says that when she hit 22, she "stopped counting".

These claims make some wonder if she was telling the truth about the serial murders. Barbour, however, denies that any of her account is false.

CNN reports that prosecutors will be seeking the death penalty for Miranda Barbour.

Both her and Elytte are being lodged at the Northumberland County Prison in Sunbury, Penn.
