Coal Miners Practice Safety Skills During Contests

LEXINGTON, Ky. (8/26/13) – Coal miners from around the area gathered in Lexington to compete in three days of mining safety contests. The event was hosted at the Lexington Convention Center Heritage Hall. SurfKY's David Gillum attended the event to talk to the miners about how the competitions help them prepare for real world experiences.
