Rightway Ministry – Why?

rightway 2 300KENTUCKY (6/25/13) – Can someone please help me out with the answers to some questions?

What's it going to take to get our churches packed on Sundays? Why, when the weather turns warm, do people find more reasons to not attend church? Why do people sell out to get tickets to all championship sporting activities, but won't give God his due?

It's not just about getting our churches packed. It's about getting souls saved and depriving the enemy of achieving his goals. If we would pay as much attention to God and give Him equal time, we would truly understand love, peace and joy. We'd be happier, healthier, get along better and be less stressed in our daily lives. Why do we only need God when we don't know what to do? We should talk to and rely on God whether on top of the mountain or down in the valley!

A few years ago, Western Kentucky got to experience God flexing his might with the onset of an ice storm. It struck and affected us all. No matter your financial or economic status, we were all equalized. There was no power to run our households. At night the only thing visible would be the headlights of cars. Like it or not, we were equal in everybody seeking the basics that we all too often take for granted, such as hot water, electricity, money, gasoline, food were all a valued commodity. We saw everybody coming together (regardless of economic status) to break bread together and truly looking out for each other. We saw people coming out of their comfort zones to truly be their brother's keepers. Why did it take such a natural disaster occurring for people to recognize that with all the technological advances of our time that we could be neutralized by something as simple as ice? Some people were without power for up to a month. You would think that after going through such an event as an ice storm that everybody would have something to praise God for, tons of testimonies. God didn't get enough praises for what we went through and survived!

A few years ago, remember the miracle on the Hudson River, when a pilot made an emergency landing on the river and not a single soul was lost in the process. That should have been the top news story of that year. But the top story of that year was the infidelity of Tiger Woods. What's it going to take for God to become front page news! Until we install God as the head of all in our lives, we are out of order! We've been created by Him to glorify Him!

TO GOD BE THE GLORY, TO GOD BE THE GLORY, TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

Have a blessed week!
