Several Charged in Meth Drug Investigation

meth drug arrest 300MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. (8/19/13) – On August 10, 2013, at approximately 1:00 pm, a multi-agency investigation involving the Kentucky State Police, Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and McCracken County Sheriff’s Department resulted in the execution of a search warrant at 711 Burkeen Road in Calloway County.
 
During search of the premises, police recovered 6 ounces of crystal methamphetamine, with an estimated street value of $10,000, along with more than $16,000 in cash and several firearms from the residence. Police also located marijuana, drug paraphernalia and stolen property, including 3 motorcycles.
 
Based the execution of the warrant, Kentucky State Police have charged the following:
 
Jerry Mardis (age 54, Dexter, KY) Charges- 1) Engaging in organized crime, 2) Ttrafficking in Methamphetamine, 3) Possession of handgun by convicted felon, 4) Possession of marijuana, 5) Receiving stolen property.
 
Jeanie Mardis (age 45, Dexter, KY) Charges- 1) Engaging in organized crime, 2) Trafficking in Methamphetamine, 3) Possession of drug paraphernalia.
 
Monte Beasley (age 49, Hickory, KY) Charges- 1) Engaging in organized crime, 2) Possession of marijuana, 3) Trafficking in Methamphetamine.
 
Leonel Ventura Cabrera (age 26,Paducah KY) Charges 1) Engaging in organized crime, 2) Trafficking in Methamphetamine, 3) Possession of marijuana.
 
Elmer Chacon (age 26, Marietta GA) Charges- 1)Engaging in organized crime, 2)Trafficking in Methamphetamine, 3) Tampering with physical evidence, 4) Possession of handgun by convicted felon.
 
The investigation continues by the Kentucky State Police.
