unbridled-kyFRANKFORT, Ky. (8/16/14) — The Kentucky Outdoor Adventure blog has a new look and some exciting new features.

The biggest change is that the blog will use contributions from anyone who has enjoyed an outdoor adventure in Kentucky and wants to share it with others.

Contributors are asked to submit a brief description of their adventure along with a photograph. After review, the articles will be posted.

“The best way to learn about the great outdoor adventures that are available in Kentucky is through the experience of others,” said Elaine Wilson, director of the Office of Adventure Tourism. “We want to hear about your favorite hiking, paddling, horseback riding, cycling or other types of experiences.”

Other changes for the blog site include a redesign to better match the look of the Adventure Tourism website. All previous blog entries are still available on the site and readers will still be able to leave comments on blog entries.

One change includes the addition of categories. Blogs can now be sorted by activity. Readers will be able to choose their favorite outdoor activity and read all blog posts on that subject.

The blog is available on the homepage of Kentucky Adventure Tourism at http://adventureblog.kentuckytourism.com/
