PADUCAH, Ky. (9/3/13) – Lourdes Foundation’s 14th Annual Charity Golf Open raised $78,000 at the annual event held on Monday, August 26 at the Country Club of Paducah.

The tournament hosted a total of 45 teams, with over 200 golfers and volunteers participating to raise $78,000. “We are very humbled by the generosity of our donors and community,” said Steven Grinnell, Lourdes President and CEO. “With this funding, the healing ministry of Lourdes can be extended even further, providing compassionate, excellent care to more members of our community in need.”

The Lourdes Foundation Charity Golf Open has raised more than $700,000 in the past 14 years. Donations to the Foundation improve the health of our community by providing support for advanced technology and projects and services that enhance patient care at Lourdes.
 
Winning the morning flight was IMAC Engineering, team members are Rob Thomas, Jeff Govan, Ron Henley and Dwayne Wieneke.

The Beltline Electric team won the afternoon flight, with team members Jason Seiner, Flip Martin, Jason Goines, and Lynn Smith.

Two tickets to the 2014 Masters were awarded to J.J. Jackson, winner of the Masters Shootout Challenge, who bested 29 other golfers in a closest to the pin contest to win the prize.
