(10/28/13) - The 21st-ranked University of Kentucky women's golf team concluded the fall season with an eighth place finish Sunday afternoon at the Stanford Intercollegiate after shooting a final round of six-over par, 290. The Wildcats three-day total of 874 (+22) marks their second-lowest of the season.

Second-ranked USC won the Stanford Intercollegiate with a score of 21-under par, 831, while No. 1 UCLA (-16), No. 19 Washington (-1), No. 9 Stanford (+3) and No. 12 Pepperdine (+8) complete the top five. UCLA's Alison Lee was the top individual with a score of seven-under par.

Rounding out the rest of the team standings were Oregon (+11), No. 20 Northwestern (+17), No. 21 UK (+22), No. 11 Vanderbilt (+25), California (+26), No. 24 Auburn (+32), UC Davis (+34), San Jose State (+46), Oregon State (+48), Georgia (+49) and Washington (+66).

Sophomore Cylia Damerau recorded her best tournament of the fall season with a season-best 54-hole score of 215. Damerau finished tied for 20th at two-over par after a two-over par, 73 on Sunday. The Cham, Switzerland, native added three more birdies in the final round to give her 12 for the tournament.

Senior Liz Breed finished the tournament tied for 36th at six-over par, 219. Breed registered a final round score of three-over par, 74. This marks the first time this season Breed hasn't finished in the top 15 of a tournament.

Saving her best round for last was sophomore Sarah Harris, who shot a final round score of one-under par, 70. Harris wrapped up the three-day tournament tied for 44th at nine-over par, 222. Freshman Haley Mills tied for 54th at 12-over par, 225. Mills turned in a final round scorecard of five-over par, 76.

The final Wildcat in the lineup was freshman Alessandra Walker who finished in a tie for 65th at 14-over par, 227. Walker also saved her best round for the final day of competition as she shot a two-over par, 73.

Playing as an individual, freshman Megan Kinney finished in a tie for 87th at 31-over par, 244. Kinney shot a final round of 13-over par, 84.
