CENTRAL CITY, Ky. (6/26/13) – Any live band that can combine the hits of Eric Church, ZZ Top, Jason Aldean and Classic rock from the Doors, all in one show, has got to be worth checking out.

Muhlenberg County citizens will have a chance to rock the night away this Saturday, June 29, at the Eagles Club in Central City with the group, “Blackford Creek,” performing from 8:00 PM until midnight.

This band has been around for over ten years, with the current lineup including Daniel McDaniel, from Fordsville, performing on drums, Dan Hall on lead guitar and vocals and Robert Mattingly on bass. Both Hall and Mattingly are from the Knottsville area.

“Our group would like to cover a very wide mix to draw from, and give it our own twist,” said McDaniels.

Other shows for the band include Wednesday nights at Show Me’s in Owensboro and Millay’s Tavern in Philpot.

Keep up with this fast moving band of country rockers on Facebook at Blackford Creek https://www.facebook.com/blackford.creek.
