GFD Friday Bike Night 'Fight Like KB' Poker Run

MUHLENBERG, Ky. (8/21/13) – The Greenville Volunteer Fire Department (GFD) Friday Bike Night held a highly successful Poker Run to aid in the "Fight Like KB" fund for Caleb Harvell, who was diagnosed with cancer in July.

The roar of the engines brought a smile to KB's face as bikers from throughout the area took off on a trek through the county, raising money for medical expenses for the 19-year-old firefighter known as "KB".

While many participated in the poker run, others enjoyed the live, free music from the band “Just Us”.

There is still time to purchase your "Fight Like KB" t-shirts and bracelets, and raffle tickets are still available for the painting done in honor of KB by Central City resident Mary Mae James.

This week's Friday Bike Night will feature the Battle of the Bands finals, beginning at 6:00 PM, with the winner receiving $1000 in cash.

Find out more about the GFD Friday Bike Night at www.tourgreenville.com.
