assaultinvestigationDIXON, Ky. (11/1/13) – The Kentucky State Police is investigating an assault that occurred between two inmates at the Webster County Detention Center which sent one inmate to an Evansville hospital.

On Thursday, October 31, 2013, at approximately 7:35 p.m., KSP Post 2 Madisonville was notified of an altercation between two inmates at the Webster County Detention Center. One inmate, Jarell Hollis, was transported to Baptist Health Madisonville and later transported to St. Mary’s for his injuries. Hollis, 28, is currently listed in stable condition.

No charges have been filed at this time as the investigation is ongoing. KSP Detective Billy Sumner is continuing the investigation.
