UK-UL Basketball Game Time Set

uk ul 300LEXINGTON, Ky. (8/16/14) — The annual Kentucky-Louisville rivalry has been scheduled for a 2 p.m. ET tip on Dec. 27 in Louisville’s Yum! Center and will air on ESPN2.

This year’s event is being hailed as the Basketball Hall of Fame Shootout with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the non-profit Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass.

UK leads the all-time series against Louisville 32-15, including a pair of wins in the 2013-14 season. The Wildcats defeated the Cardinals 73-66 in Rupp Arena during the regular season and advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament following a 74-69 win over UofL in Indianapolis.

Kentucky has won six of its last seven meetings with Louisville.
