Wintry Mix Predicted Monday Night

snowy road 300WESTERN KENTUCKY (11/11/13) — Although Veteran's Day has been a mild and sunny day, look for that to change over night.

According to the National Weather Service, there's a 60 percent chance of snow and sleet headed our way with temperatures failing over night to a low of 34 degrees.

Tomorrow and tomorrow night, the prediction is for much cooler temperatures.

There is a chance of continued flurries and a high of only 39 degrees during the day on Tuesday and a low of 21 degrees during the night.

Wednesday calls for sunny and a high of 43 degrees with a low of 23 that night. The weather service predicts a warming trend by Thursday with sunny skies and a high of 52 degrees.
