arres drugs penteBROWDER, Ky. (12/5/13) — The Muhlenberg County Sheriff's Department made two arrests for manufacturing methamphetamines Tuesday, Dec. 3 — one as a result of a traffic stop and the other at a residence.

According to Sheriff's Department report, Deputy Troy Gibson, who is assigned to the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force, along with fellow deputies went to 1724 Douglas Road in Belton to investigate possible drug activity. After locating various items used to manufacture meth, they arrested William D. Pentecost, 48, for manufacturing methamphetamines, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

Pentecost is being lodged in the Muhlenberg Detention Center on a $20,000 cash bond.

Gibson and Sheriff's Deputy Wade Griggs performed a traffic stop Tuesday, Dec. 3 and noticed items possibly related to manufacturing methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia. After obtaining a search warrant, Gibson discovered coffee filters, lithium batteries, Coleman fuel, hoses, tubing, a propane tank and several items of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies charged Billy King, Jr., 42, of 126 Covington Lane, Browder, with manufacturing methamphetamines and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being lodged in the Muhlenberg Detention Center on $20,000 cash bond.
