The Western Kentucky University employee was awarded for her dedication to her job. Cassandra enjoyed playing basketball in her youth, cooking and growing flowers. But, most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and her little dog "Asa".
Cassandra is survived by her parents, Thomas Stewart of Springfield, TN and Jean Holman Elliott of Bowling Green, Kentucky.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, Tracy Stewart and DeMarcus Elliott; and grandparents, Olivia Claycomb, Annabelle Holman, Arthur Holman, Martha Stewart and Grant Stewart.
Cassandra is survived by her husband, Alphonzo Bailey of Bowling Green, Kentucky; two sons, Tremayne and TreRenzo Stewart both of Bowling Green, Kentucky; one sister, Cynthia (Ron) Stockton of Bowling Green, Kentucky; four brothers, Gary Stewart (Mary Russell) of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Elmo Stewart (Stephanie Wells) of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Carlos Stewart of Springfield, Tennessee and Timothy (Dale) Stewart of Indianapolis, Indiana; three grandchildren, Znirrea Stewart, Jazlyn Stewart, Trecassidy Stewart and Lateshia Kirk; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Burnam and Sons Mortuary. There will be a Life Celebration at 1:00 p.m. at Eleventh Street Baptist Church in Bowling Green, KY.
