HENDERSON, KY - Edna Kathleen (Kathy) Burton, age 51, of Spottsville, KY, passed away at 3:39 AM, Tuesday, February 21, 2012, under the care of St. Anthony's Lucy Smith King Care Center, Henderson, KY.

She was preceded in death by her father Owen "Lost John" Brown.

Kathleen was a registered nurse for twenty-five years. She enjoyed her family, friends, patients, and her rose garden.

Survivors include: Husband of 33 years: Timothy Eugene Burton Spottsville, KY; 2 Daughters: Amanda Dawn Kirby Spottsville, KY and Katherine Nicole Burton Henderson, KY; Mother: Esther Brown Spottsville, KY; 4 Brothers: David Brown Huntingburg, IN, Jesse Roy Brown Henderson, KY, John Michael Brown Henderson, KY, William Robert Brown Spottsville, KY; 1 Sister: Caroline Henderson Hatfield, IN; 3 Grandchildren: Melissa Craddock, Jeremy Craddock, and Jacob Jennings ; and Beloved Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, Henderson, KY. Coni Beck will officiate.

Friends may call from 2:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Thursday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home, Henderson, KY.
