MADISONVILLE, KY (2/15/12) – SurfKY News has received several questions lately regarding the new building that Family Video has occupied and the empty business outlet next door.
SurfKY Reporters spoke with one of the Family Video employees today regarding their new location as well as what business might moving in next to theirs.
“Business is hopping,” said Family Video employee Honesty Stags. “We’ve got more room, a better look, and we’re doing so much better in this location.”
Mrs. Stags told reporters that, as far as she knew, there currently are no other businesses that have signed a contract to move in to the next door outlet. Rumors have abounded in the community that a Little Caesars Pizza restaurant, a fitness place, or a tanning place would be leasing the spot, but, according to Mrs. Stags, so far no contracts have been signed and nothing is set in stone.
Family video itself, however, seems to be very pleased with their new location. One of the more popular aspects is that there is an area set apart from the rest of the store specifically for gamers. Family Video offers a wide variety of game options, such as PS2, PS3, WII, Nintendo and much more.
