FNL 7 15MADISONVILLE, Ky. (07/15/17) — Streets were packed during the third installment of Friday Night Live in downtown Madisonville.

Families, friends and the business community merged for a night filled with fun for all ages that drew the largest crowd of the season.

Entertainment was provided by Dan Conn and The Travelin’ Kind along with The Cordovas. The main event featured Slaughters native Chris Knight.

DJ Magik Mike performed upon a second stage at Crowded House on West Center Street.

The evening included food vendors topped off by a new addition dubbed “Friday Night Live Kidz Zone,” with Bouncing B’s inflatables, a rock wall, face painting, visits from live Disney characters Elsa and Anna and Marvel’s Spiderman, and a trackless train sponsored by Independence Bank and for the kids at heart. The city provided giant Jenga and cornhole boards along West Center Street.

The annual Dixie Flyers Motorcycle Show was also part of the night’s activities and included a cash prize and trophy for each class.

Mayor David Jackson said they have been working hard to revamp Friday Night Live to cater to all ages.

“It’s looking great,” he said.
