Yards 8 3MADISONVILLE, Ky. (08/4/17) — Three area residents were rewarded this week for having beautiful yards.

The Community Improvement Foundation announced contest winners are Darlene Miller, Deborah Riles and Debra Littlepage. Each received $50 Chamber checks for their hard work related to America In Bloom’s sixth year of the local contest.

CIF president Tim Thomas said city residents were able to nominate their yard or someone else’s yard for judging.

CIF member and contest chairwoman Whitney Bundren said they had several great entries and the judging was tough, resulting in three very deserving recipients of the Chamber check prizes presented Monday at the Community Improvement Foundation Office in Madisonville.

Bundren said CIF was happy to honor those that work hard to help beautify the city.
