HOPKINSVILLE, KY (2/20/12) – A third suspect in the January 30th robbery of A.C. Automotive has been taken into custody in Texas.  26-year-old Christopher Jerome Walker was arrested over the weekend in Bexar County, Texas.

According to information provided by the Hopkinsville Police Department, Walker was located as a result of an ongoing investigation of the Hopkinsville police with the assistance of the U.S. Marshalls in Texas.  Walker is currently lodged in the Bexar County Jail and is charged with 1st Degree Robbery.

The arrest stems from an incident that occurred on January 30 at A.C. Automotive on East Ninth Street in Hopkinsville. That afternoon, three black males with guns robbed two victims inside the business.  A fourth suspect was waiting in a car in the parking lot. Oak Grove Police spotted the car a few minutes later on I-24.  One suspect, Joseph Brown was arrested immediately.  The other three fled on foot.

One suspect, 23-year-old Justin Horstead of Clarksville remains at-large.  Anyone with information concerning his location is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 270-887-TIPS (8477).  You are reminded that the TIPS phone does not have caller I.D. and no calls are recorded or traced.
