CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY (2/14/12) – J. Michael Foster, Christian County Attorney was recognized for his distinguished and dedicated service as a public official and his leadership to the Kentucky County Attorneys Association (KCAA).
Mr. Foster received this award on Friday at the annual meeting of KCAA held at the Downtown Hilton Hotel in Lexington, KY. “This is really more of a lifetime achievement award for Mike,” stated John Estill, Mason County Attorney and KCAA President. “Mike Foster sets the example for what it truly means to be a county prosecutor. A person who serves his community every day, working to make our neighborhoods, schools and highways, a better and safer place to live, learn, work and raise our families.”
In remarks to over 150 attendees from across Kentucky, gathered at the conference, Bill Patrick, KCAA Executive Director said, “Speaking for our association, we are appreciative for Christian County giving us a man like Mike Foster, who is willing to give his time and leadership to our organization. As a group we work together in Frankfort in an effort to get funding and resources for our prosecutors. Mike has been a leader in this fight for many years and there is on one more worthy of getting this recognition here today.”
Mac Johns, Todd County Attorney, added, “As Mike’s neighbor and friend, I see not only what Mike does as a prosecutor, but the excellent leadership he gives to Christian County. He is involved in so many remarkable projects that improves his community and helps working families.
In west Kentucky, we have known for a long time how much he deserves this distinguished service award and we thank him for the work he does for our part of the state.”
