ELKTON, KY - Jerry Keith Sears, age 55 of Elkton, passed away 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Brandford Heights Healthcare in Hopkinsville, KY of natural causes.

Jerry was born August 28, 1956 in Logan Co., KY the son of Virgil Lee Sears and the late Peggy Jane Crowder Gibbs. He was a truck driver for 25 years and a US Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Kay Sears in 2006 and his brother, Michael Lee Sears.

Jerry is survived by his father, Virgil Sears of Elkton; his ex-wife, Debbie Sears of Elkton; his son, Justin Sears of Hopkinsville; his daughter, Brandy Sears of Elkton; two brothers, Randy Sears and David Sears both of Elkton; one sister, Cheryl Dossett of Elkton; one step-sister, Michelle Rogers of Elkton; three grandchildren, Ric Garcia-Sears, Callie Sears and Stuart Lee Sears

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Latham Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Sweeney officiating. Burial will follow in the Gant Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m. Friday at Latham Funeral Home.
