PEMBROKE, KY - Dorothy (Dot) Jane Cooksey, age 58, of Pembroke passed away at 3:00 PM Tuesday, February 07, 2012 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural cause.

Mrs. Cooksey was born in Dew Stop, Kentucky on July 13, 1953, the daughter of the late William Gobel and Hallie Dee Sowders Woodcock. She was a former employee at Grupo Antolin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodger Allen Cooksey in 2000.

Survivors include her son, Brian Cooksey of Indianapolis,, IN; her daughter, Karla Baucum of Pembroke, KY; her brothers, Johnny, Gobel “Bubby”, Paul and Chris Woodcock all of Indianapolis, IN; her sisters, Carolyn “Dinky” Woodcock of Indianapolis, IN, and Joyce Goodlett of Clayton, IN; seven grandchildren, Charla and Dalton Malone, Isabelle and Rodger Cooksey, Callie, Braxton, and Alex Baucum; and a great-grandchild, Brendyn Cortez.

Memorial services will be at 1:00PM on Saturday, February 11, 2012 with Rev. Mike Atkins officiating, with visitation starting at 12 noon until time of service at 1:00PM at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Pembroke, KY.
