HOPKINSVILLE, KY - Joyce A. Taylor, age 71, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Friday, February 10, 2012, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY.

Mrs. Taylor was retired from the International Shoe Factory and was a member of South Union Baptist Church in Hopkinsville, KY.

She is survived by: Husband of 51 years- James C. "Smokey" Taylor, Hopkinsville, KY, Four Sisters- Mary Fennell, Godfried, IL, Naomi Clark, Cadiz, KY, Donna May, Pembroke, KY & Bonnie Hairfield, Gracey, KY, she was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: Father - Thomas Peyton Marquess, Mother - Ruth Baker Marquess and One Sister - Nina Elizabeth Marquess.

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. -P.O. Box 2050 Cadiz, KY 42211-031 in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Monday, February 13, 2012.

Funeral Service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Monday, February 13, 2012 with the Reverend Roy Marquess, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Cadiz, KY.
