Amy Nickell Graves, age 87 of Chapmansboro and formerly of Guthrie

 

HOPKINSVILLE, KY - Amy Nickell Graves, age 87 of Chapmansboro and formerly of Guthrie passed away at her home in Chapmansboro of natural causes.

Mrs. Graves was born June 7, 1924 in Hickman County, Tennessee, daughter of the late M.B. and Sula Nickell. She was a retired school teacher.

Mrs. Graves was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by four daughters Catherine Darnell of Allensville, Kentucky, Cristie Mayor of Cheatham County, Tennessee, Karen (Tom) Edwards of Clarksville, Tennessee and Mollie (Wayne) Morton of Elkton. One brother Joseph Nickell of Maryville, Tennessee, two sisters Martha Warren Kelsey of Guthrie and Christine McClannahan of Centerville, Tennessee. 4 grandchildren and 3 great grand children.

Visitation with the Graves family will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 at the Cook - Webb Funeral Home. A memorial service is scheduled to be held on Thursday evening at 7:00 in the chapel of the Cook - Webb Funeral Home with Reverend Dumas officiating. Interment will follow on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 at the Nickell Memorial Cemetery in Centerville, Tennessee.
