PRINCETON, Ky. (7/19/17) — The Princeton Police Department recently released the following reports:

Jerald W Swetland, 23 of Old Wilson Warehouse Road was charged July 13 on a Caldwell County indictment warrant charging him with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and – first offense and first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – second or greater offense.

Sasha N McKnight-Stone, 29 McGoodwin Street was charged July 13 on Caldwell and Lyon County bench warrants charging her with failure to appear and contempt of court.

Officers responded to a shoplifting complaint at Walmart July 13. Chayton L Miller, 18 of Tyler Street, and Rebecca A Lerfard, 21 of Grace Court, both were charged with theft by unlawful taking less than $500.

Officers responded to a shoplifting complaint at Walmart July 13. Devin R Ketchey, 19 of Farmersville Road was charged with third-degree burglary and Davie E. McVay, 44 of Farmersville Road was charged with theft by unlawful taking less than $500.

Joseph K Williams, 35 of Cadiz Road was charged July 14 on a Caldwell County bench warrant for contempt of court.

Officers responded to a fight call at the Stratton Inn at 11:27 p.m. July 14. When officers arrived they were told that no fight had occurred. Officers reported smelling the odor of marijuana emanating from the room. Officers obtained consent to search and found a baggy containing what appeared to be methamphetamine residue. Celeste M Rustin, 41 ofRatliff Street, was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance/meth and Shance M Anslyn, 46 of Carner Hill Road was cited to court on charges of possession of marijuana and frug paraphernalia - buy/possess.

Harry D Thurby, 59 of Paducah was charged July 15 with driving under the influence – first offense.

Officers responded to a shoplifting complaint at Walmart July 15. Officers charged Daniel W Carter II, 18 of Dawson Springs, charging him with theft by unlawful taking less than $500.

Timothy R Williams, 50 of Hawthorne Street was charged July 15 with driving under the influence – first offense and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.

Officers responded to a single vehicle collision at 4:59 p.m. July 15 on Mechanic Street. Penny M Lisowski, 53, Willow Lane was westbound in 1991 Ford F150 and left the right side of the roadway and struck a utility pole. Lisowski told officers that the power steering failed causing the vehicle to leave the roadway. A passenger Stephanie D Empson was transported to Caldwell County ER. Officers were assisted at the scene by Caldwell EMS and Princeton Fire.

Officers responded to a disturbance in the 900 block of Varmint Trace Road at 5:04 p.m. July 16. Officers charged Stephanie D Hall, 47 of Hillview Court second-degree disorderly conduct.

Officers went to the 106 Ratliff Street at 11:55 a.m. July 17 to conduct a follow up investigation. While at the residence officers saw Darrin M Matthews, 18 of Ratliff Street sitting in a vehicle. After obtaining a search warrant, officers searched vehicle where they located a small quantity of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. While at the scene officers also asked the whereabouts of Daniel R Hall, 19. Matthews told officers he did not know. Hall was located inside the residence at 106 Ratliff. Hall was arrested on a Caldwell County warrant charging him with fraudulent use of a credit card less than $500. Matthews was charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance/meth – first offense, drug paraphernalia – buy/possess and hindering prosecution or apprehension.
