MURRAY, KY - Bertrand W. Bleemel Sr., 92 of Murray passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Murray Calloway County Hospital.

Mr. Bleemel was a member of St. Leo Catholic Church, and also a member of Knight’s of Columbus.

Born May 9, 1919 in Louisville KY.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Matthew and Rose Sinclair Bleemel;one brother Matthew J. Bleemel; one sister, Theresa Bleemel.

He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Nauert Bleemel of Murray; one son, Bertrand Bleemel Jr. of Dallas, TX; five daughters, Barbara Thomas of Walton, KY, Beatrice Cravens and husband Ron of Hardinsburg, IN, Bernice Casper and husband Gary of Murray, Bonita Chambers of Murray, Becky Burnett of Louisville. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 20, 2012 at St. Leo Catholic Church with Fr. Jason McClure officiating. Burial will follow in Murray Memorial Gardens.

Family will receive visitors from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. with Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Imes – Miller Funeral Home.
