johnbickettCALHOUN, Ky. (10/11/17) — John Paul Bickett 25, of Calhoun went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 10 in McLean County.

John Paul Bickett was born June 10, 1992 in Owensboro to Paul Joseph and Suzanne Renee Brumley Bickett and was engaged to the love of his life, Keeley Rone Mitchell. John Paul was a farmer with Bickett Farms and a member of the Catholic Faith. He was a gun enthusiast, enjoyed caring for his cattle and loved his dog, Rosie. John Paul was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sarah Head Brumley and James C. Bickett; by an aunt, Jennifer Bickett; and by a cousin, Logan Bickett.

Survivors include his parents, Paul and Suzanne Bickett of Calhoun; his fiancée, Keeley Mitchell; two sisters and their husbands, Ryann and Greg Blandford of Hendersonville, Tennessee and Madeline and Terry Lee Logsdon of Calhoun; two nieces, Isabelle Blandford and Eloise Logsdon; a nephew, Tyler Logsdon; his grandparents, Mike Brumley and Margaret Bickett both of Owensboro; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Martin Catholic Church with Father Ed Bradley officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary Magdalene Cemetery in Daviess County. Friends may visit with John Paul’s family from 3 – 8 p.m. Friday and from 8 – 9 a.m. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel. Prayer services for John Paul will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Musters in Calhoun.

The family of John Paul Bickett requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Owensboro Humane Society; 3101 West Second Street; Owensboro, Kentucky 42301. Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Calhoun.
