Fish & Wildlife Holds 2nd District Town Hall Meeting

deerMUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY (2/20/12) - The Kentucky Dept of Fish & Wildlife will be hosting a town hall meeting at the Merle Travis Center on Tuesday, March 27.

During the meeting, the public will have the opportunity to offer ideas and engage in open conversation with Dept of Fish & Wildlife staff.

This is part of a series of town hall meetings, scheduled in various parts of the bluegrass until April 2, in attempt to create a "more informed and involved public."

Managers from the department’s different programs will be on hand to answer questions, provide updates and discuss issues of interest to hunters, anglers, trappers, boaters and other wildlife/outdoor enthusiasts.

The March 27 meeting will be for the 2nd Wildlife District, which includes Allen, Butler, Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, Hopkins, Logan, McLean, Muhlenberg, Ohio, Simpson, Todd, Union, Warren and Webster counties.

The town hall meeting is scheduled to be held at the Merle Travis Music Center, 750 Cleaton Road.
