MUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY (2/16/12) - The Muhlenberg County Public Libraries will be sponsoring an annual writing contest.
The annual writing contest is set to begin the week of March 4, which is Teen Tech Week. The contest will open from March 4, until May 4, 2012.
Students may submit poetry, short stories, one act plays and essays up to 500 words. Prizes will be awarded in each category.
Submissions may be sent to the library by email or in a sealed envelope by U.S. Mail.

A panel will judge the entries and the winners will read their works. Prizes will be awarded at the July meeting of the Muhlenberg County Friends of the Library.
