MUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY (2/18/12) - The Muhlenberg County Extension Office will be hosting a “Safe Driving” class on March 7, at 12:30 PM. 
The class will be four hours long and will consist of lessons on defensive driving techniques, new traffic laws and rules of the road as well as how to handle problem situation, how to safely use anti-lock brakes, air bags and safety belts.
Participants are encouraged to check with auto insurance provider to learn about possible discounts for attending the program.
The program is $12 for AARP members and $14 for nonmembers.
To register for the class or learn more, call the Extension office at 338-3124 by March 2.
