car theft arndellMADISONVILLE, Ky. (8/15/14) — The Hopkins County Sheriff's Office has recovered a vehicle stolen from the Cole's Office Outfitters parking lot at 2425 Anton Road, Madisonville.

According to a HCSO report, A white Chevrolet Venture van was reported stolen from the store Wednesday, Aug. 13. Muhlenberg County Deputy B.W. DeArmond located the vehicle at 391 Luzerne Road, Depoy.

Hopkins County Deputy Heath Owens obtained a probable cause for an arrest warrant for Jimmy Arndell, 33, homeless, of Muhlenberg for unlawful taking over $500 (vehicle) at 2:23 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14. Det. Otis Chamberlain processed the stolen van at Harvey's Family Towing. Arndell is being lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.

The owner of Cole's was notified and arrangements were made for the return of the vehicle.
