CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (7/10/13) – In preparation for the 2013-2014 School Year, the Calloway County School District has scheduled registration and “Back to School” events for all students and their families.
Pickup Registration Packets
Aug. 1 (Th) registration packet pick-up 7:00am – 6:00pm
“Open House” – August 8 (Th) 4:00pm - 6:00pm Return Packets & meet the Teacher.
East Calloway Elementary:
New student registration (includes any K not already registered) July 23 (Tu) Noon – 7:00pm
Students Gr 1-5 pickup registration packet & Pay $20 school Fee July 23 (Th) Noon – 7:00 pm
“Back to School Night” – Aug 1 (Th) 5:00 – 7:00pm - Return Packets & meet the Teacher.
North Calloway Elementary:
Pickup Registration Packets and Pay $20 School Fee
July 25 (Th) registration packet pick-up 9:00am – 6:00pm

Southwest Calloway Elementary:

The following are dates for students to pick up their schedules and pay fees:
July 31 (W) Seniors, Juniors, & Sophomores pick up schedules from 11:00am - 6:00pm
Aug 1 (Th) Freshman pick up schedules from 1:00pm – 6:00pm
Aug 2 (F) any student who missed Monday & Tuesday pick-up schedules from 8:00am to 1:00pm

Community-wide school supply giveaway for Calloway County and Murray Independent students

The Calloway County Board of Education has amended its policy addressing service of meals to students under the National School Lunch Program and the National School Breakfast Program for the 2013-2014 school year. The change allows meals to be offered to all students at The Calloway County Preschool, East Calloway Elementary and North Calloway Elementary schools at no charge under the Community Eligibility Option (CEO) program. As a result, the federal household applications, used in the past to determine student meal fees for those schools, will no longer be collected.
Since the Calloway County School district will still be required to accurately report those schools eligibility for federal and state funding and to determine individual student fees, a different form, the Household Income Form (HIF) must now be completed by every household at the schools participating in the CEO program. The HIF form, in both Spanish and English language versions, is available at the schools.
