CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (7/12/13) – The Site Based Decision Making Council of Calloway County High School has announced the selection of Randy McCallon as their choice for the next Principal. Among many other positions he has held in the Calloway County School district, McCallon previously served as principal of CCHS for the 1999-2000 and 2000-2001 school years.
Jacob Falwell, vice-chair of the SBDM council, said that they (the council) were thrilled to welcome back a true “Laker for Life” in Mr. McCallon. “As a council, we wanted to be pro-active and seek out the best candidate for this important leadership role”, said Falwell.
Superintendent Kennith Bargo added, “Randy’s knowledge and life experience in the Calloway County School district was a huge factor in the decision to recruit him from his current position as Superintendent of Carlisle County Schools.”
McCallon will immediately begin wrapping up his duties in Carlisle County and is scheduled to be on the job at Calloway County High School on July 29.
