Hopkinsville Police Investigate Burglaries

Burglary3 300HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (6/14/13) – The Hopkinsville Police Department is currently investigating several burglaries, which have occurred over the last couple of weeks, throughout the city of Hopkinsville.
 
These crimes are being investigated diligently by the Hopkinsville Police Department Detectives and patrol officers. Officers will be conducting various details, including foot and bicycle patrols, and will be highly visible in these areas in an attempt to catch those responsible for the crimes.
 
While officers are increasing patrol efforts, citizens are encouraged to call 911 if they see anything or anyone suspicious in their neighborhoods.
 
As a reminder, citizens are urged to utilize security lighting around houses, make sure you lock all windows and doors and document the serial numbers on all valuable items or mark them for easy identifications.
 
Citizens are also encouraged to contact the Hopkinsville Police for any questions on how they can better protect their homes.
