trail tears 300HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (8/20/13) – The Trail of Tears Commemorative Park will be hosting their 26th Annual Trail of Tears Pow Wow on September 7 and 8, 2013 located on HWY 41, Pembroke Road Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
 
The weekend will be filled with Native American dance competitions, singing, story-telling, Indian flute demonstrations, Native American arts & crafts, jewelry, clothing, books, art and collectibles. There will also be refreshments including Indian Fry Bread.
 
There will be three grand entries. Saturday at 11:30am, then at 6:00pm and Sunday at 1:00pm.
 
Admission for Adults is $6.00; children 6 -12 is $3.00 and children under six are free. Gates open each day at 10:00am. There is also camping available and teepees are welcome.
