jsmc new2 300HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (8/22/13) – Jennie Stuart Medical Center Relay for Life Team will be taking donations for their annual “Be my Support” Bra Contest that will benefiting the American Cancer Association coming up on October 3, 2013.
 
This will be the first year the Bra Contest will be used as a fundraiser for Relay for Life.
 
“We are hoping to bring the contest to the community,” said DeeAnna Yates, JSMC Communications Liaison. “There will prizes to giveaway and we also hope that all the organizations who participate will come up with some really great ideas.”
 
A $25.00 donation to the JSMC Relay for Life Tea
 
m will qualify entries to be selected by a panel of judges 1st, 2nd, and Crowd Favorite awards. Entries will be judged based on originality, workmanship and title. Crowd favorite will be judged by the WKWS attendees. Entries must be turned in at the J. E. Bruce Convention Center by noon on October 3, 2013.
 
The bras will be displayed on Friday, October 4, at the West Kentucky Women’s Show in the James E. Bruce Convention Center.
 
1st place will receive $100.00 and a trophy, 2nd place will receive $75.00 and Crowd Favorite will receive $50.00.
 
This is the first year cash award will be given away, which gives participants not only a chance to support for a cure, but also the opportunity to raise money for the cause.
