Female Arrested on Various Charges, Including Assaulting an Officer

assault arrest 300TRIGG COUNTY, Ky. (8/26/13) – On Saturday, August 24, Trigg County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) Deputy David King responded to scene of a single vehicle accident and found an unidentified female standing in the middle of the road.
 
Deputy King made contact with the suspect who allegedly had a strong odor of alcohol and became belligerent. Deputy King Arrested the suspect for DUI, No Insurance, No License, No Registration. When Deputy King attempted to place the suspect inside his vehicle and seatbelt her in she allegedly bit him on his upper back and resisted. The suspect also allegedly spit in the back of Deputy King's vehicle leading to additional charges of Resisting Arrest, Assault 3rd (Police Officer), and Criminal Mischief 3rd.
 
The suspect was transported to Christian County Jail.
