Earl Calhoun Now JSMC Board Chair

Earl Calhoun 300HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (1/21/14) —The Jennie Stuart Medical Center Board of Trustees has elected Earl L. Calhoun, CPA, as Board Chair.

Calhoun, had been secretary/treasurer. He has served on the JSMC Board since 2010.

Also elected to one-year terms as Board officers were Kelley Workman, vice chair; Tom Bell, secretary/treasurer; Theresa Nichol, member at large; and Keith Toms, MD, president of the JSMC Medical Staff.    

The JSMC Board of Trustees oversees all operations of Jennie Stuart Medical Center, JSMC ancillary services such as those at the Eagle Way Campus and several other locations, and Fairview Physicians Network, a wholly owned subsidiary.

JSMC is a private, not-for-profit health organization that includes an acute-care medical center; free-standing outpatient surgery, medical imaging, laboratory, and rehabilitation services; and an integrated physician network.
