ARREST ROBBERY 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (1/8/14) - Owensboro Police responded to a robbery call at approximately 5:17 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6 at 3900 W 5th Street.

The victim, Polly Simmons, reported that two acquaintances approached her at the park, threatened her, and robbed her of $200. The suspects were located a short time later by a Daviess County Sheriff’s Deputy in the 3400 block of Highway 81, and were identified as Jeffrey A. Dennison, 39, of Calhoun, and Tara L. Simmons, 32, of Owensboro, according to OPD.

Dennison and Simmons were charged with second degree robbery and were lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center.
