DSCN1616OWENSBORO, Ky. (3/21/14) — Approximately 3,000 people descended on Moreland Park this morning for Owensboro's largest Color Blast 5K event of the year.

A collaborative effort between six local nonprofit agencies, the Color Blast 5K fun run/walk is designed to raise money for the local charities.

The 5K proceeded along Parrish Avenue toward the Health Park on Robin Road and then past Owensboro Middle School near South Griffith Avenue.
