Title 1 and Friends Resource Center Literacy Night at Jefferson Elementary

Henderson Jefferson Elementary 300HENDERSON, Ky. (10/21/13) - Jefferson Elementary Title 1 and Friends Resource Center Family Literacy Night provides an opportunity for parents/guardians to learn about fun educational reading activities and websites which are easily accessed from home.

The theme this year is “Dig Into Reading.“ During this night families will also learn about the 7 Habits of Happy Kids (Leader In Me) program.

Activities such as drawings and door prizes will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. after the informational sessions and pizza party at 5:30 p.m. A book fair will be available for those wishing to purchase books. Jefferson Elementary t-shirts will be available for purchase, as well as information about PTA membership and how to get involved.
