Man Arrested for Going Over 100 MPH on the Audubon

high speed chase 300 blueHENDERSON, Ky. (01/08/14) – Kentucky State Police Trooper Aaron Pryor observed a black car traveling westbound on the Audubon Parkway driving at speeds in excess of 101 mph around 12:07 p.m. Jan. 8, and when he activated his emergency lights and sirens in an attempt to stop the vehicle, the car continued driving.

The vehicle continued to drive westbound until he exited the Audubon Parkway onto the Pennyrile Parkway. Pryor was able to catch up to the vehicle where it stopped northbound on the Pennyrile. Pryor took the driver, Daniel E. Sexton, 40, into custody without further incident, according to KSP.

Sexton was transported to the Henderson County Detention Center on charges of fleeing or evading police first degree, speeding more than 26 mph over the limit, and reckless driving.
